Unihealth Playford a GP Super Clinic
The Unihealth Playford GP Super Clinic was officially opened by Hon Nicola Roxon MP, Federal Minister of Health on 10th June 2011. About 60 guests attended the opening and included representatives from the University of Adelaide, University of SA, Divisions of General Practice, Community Groups and those involved with the establishment and fit out of the new facility.
In September 2009 Adelaide Unicare, a controlled Entity of the University of Adelaide, in partnership with the University of South Australia signed an agreement with the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing to establish the Playford North GP Super Clinic in the Adelaide Northern suburbs.
Construction of the building is now almost complete and the Clinic, to eventually be called Unihealth Playford, will see its first patients in May of this year.
